Add a DocuGen view to your monday.com board

Go to any of board in your monday.com account and click on the list of views.

Click on “+ Add View” then on “More views” at the bottom of the list. This will open the Views Center where you can search for the DocuGen Documents view. Click on the view to add it.

Once you add a DocuGen view, you can rename it as you wish. You can add as many DocuGen views as you wish, each with its own settings.

  1. Hello Patrick and thanks for your question! You are asking how the automations behave when there are multiple views associated with the same board.

Automations currently operate at the board level and do not differentiate between views. In other words, if you have 3 DocuGen views under the same board, the automation will pick up the settings from the first view it finds; it could be any of the 3.

We recognize that this is not ideal and have already included a fix that is part of the next release, expected early November. Under the new release, you will be able to specify for each integration which view to use. For example, you will be able to have completely different settings (including different templates) for each view (even if they are all under the same board.) Your automations will let you specify which view settings to use.

    Stay tuned!

  2. Good news! DocuGen now supports view-specific settings. You are now able to specify for each integration which view to use. For example, you can have completely different settings (including different templates) for each view (even if they are all under the same board.) Your automations will let you specify which view settings to use.
